Missing features on newer models? |

I've always wondered why from one model to the other, when you think it's an upgrade, although there are things that are added to the newer model, some things are also removed...The only example that I can think of right now is between the T68i and the T300 which are essentially the same phone with a different look, but no bluetooth on the T300 among other things...and now with the k700, the profiles can't change automatically in conjuction with calendar entries like they could on the T68 & T610...I think we all agree that the K700 kicks the latter's asses, but why would such simple ( i would think it's simple) features be left out from such a badass phone?
Anyone got infos/opinions about this?

I've just a few minutes ago noticed that when you set the alarm, the alarm time no longer replaces the date on the standby screen which it did on the T630. it would revert back to date when the alarm expired
it is strange why they would remove such simple features

On the K700 it seems, when the alarm goes off, if one presses the volume keys, the alarm is turned off. On the T610 this did put the alarm on snooze......

One thing I can't see why it's always excluded, except from P-Series, is customiseable message tones.
Why on earth do they not include this? U can choose anything for ur ringtone, anything for personal ringtones and even anything for a god damn alarm tone!!! So why not for messages?

on the t610 it had a cool im feature where you can text message someone back in forth but it would look like an instant message screen you can see what they wrote and the what you wrote and so on. I wonder why they took that out in the t630 and now in the k700 also. |

I'm sure most people would agree with me on this. Though it's not a "needed" feature, it was a nice feature nonetheless. I want my status LED back. |

@ mmsman
I was only using that as an example, for sure the T300 was cheaper than the T68's, but you have to agree that in essence, the t300 and t68 are extremely similar as far as the menus, features, etc.
@ MikLSP
i've wondered why countless amount of times!!!
@ all the rest
thanks for your comments, I like the way this thread is moving along

Probably because they've included support for Wireless Village instead. |

yeah i know that and i totally agree with you but again it was a bad example as the two phones were marketed at two totally different groups..... |
