Instead of wanting to be involved in moderating the site, i feel what esato needs is more articles or columns to be updated weekly in the news section. I feel it would be of massive interest to many members here if there could be more SE as well as other tech news updates and several opinion columns on current mobile affairs. I for one read a lot of the technology industry news daily, and would be delighted to be able to contribute to a better news reporting facility for esato.

So if laffen is interested i would love to write and contribute!

Axxxr should be able to do the news in the news section because he brings a lot of news into Esato.

You don't need moderator status to post new threads.. so i really dont see the need.

@mixin is quite right there, you really don't need to get a moderator status just in order to post worthwhile IT related facts and news, posting is FREE! Just wait for it to be 'LOCKED', when the majority did not like it or when 'flaming' starts going in any given direction . . .

I didnt mean that he should be mod but i just suggested that, because someone said there needs to be more news, he could do a section in Esato.

What is this perceived need for a new moderator? This isn't the first time such an issue has been raised and I would like to know what it is that leads members to believe that there is the need for another moderator. Esato isn't in chaos nor are the members running riot, if it isn't broke then don't fix it.
I found the comments regarding the need for more news quite interesting, and I would agree that there is a need for more news here on Esato. I regularly read a lot of tech news from various different websites and it might actually be a good idea if more of these stories could be linked to or displayed on Esato. In my opinion there isn't a need for any sort of official involvement in the collection of such news articles, it is quite sufficient for the members to submit things they find as they look for news themselves; the only difference from the way things are at present would be that, instead of posting them in a thread, they could be submitted to be posted on the site itself.

@boba

I wasn't directing my post at you or anyone in particular, hence the reason that I didn't include '@boba' or any other name for that matter. I was making a general point. Personally I thought your idea was quite good, in the context of generating a little excitement, but unpractical.
I would also say that your English is actually rather good, better than some people born and raised in Britain!

@scotsboyuk thx. I posted here the former question, cos it was me who started this thread, therefore a kind of responsibility is mine in case of any reactions on my idea. As a starter its me in the first line who has to face - and + comments aswell, so i allowed myself to manifestate your post in me. Thx again for your comment.
