You cant upgrade the phone by yourself. You have to go to your loca service sentre and ask them to do the upgrade.

i have tried to go to a service center in my area to upgrade the FW of my T610 but they won't do it because according to them, there's no wrong with my phone. they will only do what i want if i will have a serious problem with my phone. so, i have nothing to do but to leave. im still using the most basic FW which is R1. |

Just tell them it keeps locking up when browsing WAP sites. Most versions do!

you'll still get busted because the technicians are going test the phone before doing something with it. even if you will only consult them, they would still test the phone. i even gave them a reason of why i want to upgrade my T610 but "Reason Denied" i got. |

Is your firmware version R1L? If so tell them that you have bluetooth problem, like you can't get connection to your pc, or the connection break down to many times. This is a "normal" problam in that version.

R6C is released for T610, T630 and Z600.

hey,
no feedback on amr ringtones yet.
is it supported?
its pretty lame the older fw don't support it since even the t230 supports amr
