as has been mentioned many times, there are no pop3/smtp settings you can use for hotmail
here are some recent threads on the subject of hotmail on p900

Setting up Hotmail email account on P900???
Hotmail as email?
etc etc... I personally just use opera and go to mobile.msn.com

Hmmm
As stated by masseur above, Hotmail CANNOT be accessed via POP3.
There used to be some WAP sites that allowed access to hotmail accounts, but most of these closed down when Microsoft made changes some time ago to discourage this sort of access.
I seem to recall that you can get some sort of premium/gold hotmail account that gives POP3 access - but it is chargeable
Just a thought!

that was me, not some guy and yes.... outlook express, being a M$ product for starters, does allow me (and most likely also others) to import my hotmail email as well as my MSN messenger buddy list through some sort of setup which I cannot duplicate right now as I'm at work.
I was most definitely not sh*tting you.
[edit] this setup for Outlook Express does by no means mean you can do the same thing on your P900, mind.

I have all my hotmail accounts setup in ourlook express. Indeed both outlook express and outlook both support the HTTP server types which is required for hotmail.
As we're talking OE here are the steps... simply go to tools, accounts, add, mail
you then enter your name and click next
you then enter your email address (e.g. fred@hotmail.com) and click next
OE recognised the hotmail.com part and on the next screen offers "my incoming mail server is a HTTP server". The HTTP part is in a selection box which can be changed to POP3, IMAP or HTTP
underneath that it says "My HTTP mail service provider is" and Hotmail appears in a selection box. This can be changed to Hotmail, MSN, other
from there you click next and enter your account details to finish.
