Download the latest version of Opera (6.3) for Symbian phones. Available on Opera.com. One thing you must keep in mind is that loging into Hotmail may or may not work for you. This issue is mostly network related. I would try to also use a Hotmail wap link as it won't be as demanding on your browser settings/capabilities.

get reqwireless email viewer. very good program fixes all the pop3 sending issues with the p900 and you can get hotmail emails with it too.

U have too many programs open. Try to open Opera again. When there's not enuf mem, the phone sometimes automatically shut down some of the other open programs.
Unfortunately, I have not found an easy way to shut down programs not in use without resorting to buy an app for that purpose. I use TaskMan to release mem but there are other apps out there. Someone on the forum may know another way to release mem within the P900.

Try setting in your POP3 settings the POP3 server as 'in.izymail.com' and the smtp server as 'out.izymail.com'.

Use your usual password and set your user name ending @hotmail.com, I found this service and although its only free for the first 15 days it still looks quite cheap to use afterwards. After about a day you get sent an email breaking down what it will cost if you want to use it after 15 days is up.

Not perfect but still a suggestion.

well if you want hotmail through your p800/p900 and you only have wap like me, there is a way to do it. visit this link and sign up.

https://www.mymail.ie/mymail/home.asp

they will then send you a book mark through an sms.
then all you need to do is log on to your wap acount and open a da book mark.
and you wont need opra. the inbuilt browser works fine.
and you will also like the free part
Let the world roll along....I'll catch up later
