Hi
guys, got me a K700 and right after a S700 and the same problem with my HBH-35...after a call, it's a pain in the a** to disconnect the headset...i think one has to go to "connectivity"->"bluetooth"->my devices"->hbh-35-> turn off !!!!!!...
any way to ease up the process?
thanks |

my S700i seems to have some problems regarding answering calls. I've set the answering mode of my phone's portable hands-free profile to "automatic" so as to answer an incoming call automatically while the headset is plugged in. but for some reason, it won't do what it's supposed to do. anyone here experiencing the same problem as me? |

Vein, I thought it was obvious on my post, that the headset doesn't let me turn off...and that is the reason why i need to turn it off in the phone first. |

Guys, I just would like to ask.
What is the latest firmware that s700 has?
And what are the advantages of me updating? (I have R3K004)

Isn't it R3M, but afaik R3K is verry stable ? Am still on the orig R3B- would change if I get- (assuming it is there and not hearsay) . . # Auto Unlock upon opening. . # Contacts allowing multi letter search, like in some older T series. . # No restrictions on length of video recording . . # Free of reboot, bluetooth connectivity prob. & other issues. . # and something which I already have and prefer: no shutter sound under silent. . CURRENTLY R3B WITH EU2 customization. Anyone knows anything?

I actually would like to verify that Sailaab. Would upgrading my current firmware allow me to search for 3 letters? I hear that it is still not possible for a china made s7 eh?

To answer your post:
I have R3M and I can confirm the following:
# Auto Unlock upon opening. .
R3M has this capability, mine will always unlock when i open it.
# Contacts allowing multi letter search, like in some older T series. .
Depending on the firmware region, R3M has multi-character search. (Chinese firmware does not have this)
# No restrictions on length of video recording . .
On unbranded firmware there is no limation on video length.
# Free of reboot, bluetooth connectivity prob. & other issues. .
This is actually a hardware issue (see this topic for more info).
# and something which I already have and prefer: no shutter sound under silent. .
Again, depending on the firmware region this can be done by putting the phone into silent mode (some countries have to have a sound play by law, such as the UK.). If you use DaVinci or Total MultiServer you can tell it to remove the camera shutter sound completely.
Hope that helps.

You can have MP3 ringtones but you cannot set custom message tones. You can only choose from the six preinstalled ones. You'd be better off waiting for the W900i, its basically everything great from the S700i and more (although I still prefer the look of the S700i)!

Really, how come other brands such as Samsung etc allow the noise to be off?!
