Well i just called the eShop and the girly on the phone said they have no K700's available until Thursday ! 
However, if i preorder one, i'll save Ģ10 and have it delivered by Friday !
RESULT !

Actually eSHOP do NOT have stock. They are getting them on Thursday. They are doing a 10 UKP discount for pre-orders until then. You should get it Friday or Monday assuming stock arrives.
The website was updated because the stock is imminent and to promote the special price.

Hey all,
I got a few questions about the k700
I got mine yesterday free on the Ģ16 tariff like some other guy on the forum took a bit of moaning like he said but it can be done!
Ok, firstly is there any way of automatically keylocking because I can't find it ?
Secondly when the keypad lights up doesn't it look like pink ?
thirdly how can you get rid of the O2 images because they are locked onto the phone?
fourthly, how can u get rid of the o2 shutdown screen ??

keylock can be found in settings, then in the general tab locks, then automatic keylock.
The T630 also a hint of pink tinge too though I'd say the tinge on my K700 is more purple
no idea about the O2 questions except probably to flash the firmware with a generic version like you do with earlier models

I just had to take my K700 back to o2 and get a refund because it kept shutting down and restarting itself, I'll just have to wait and get a sim free one with no pre installed network crap on it

Is there a data cable available for the k700 yet or does one of the existing cables like the DCU-10 USB cable work with it. My k700i should be delivered next week and I want to be able to put some of my cheesy midi tunes on it straight away!! |

you can use any of the data cables, this was already discussed in this thread this morning. I actually use the sync station of the P900
I did want to close this thread yesterday because of repetitions and the difficulty of finding stuff due to its size but people just keep posting so I have let it be  (for now!)

Mine arrived this morning while I was at college. I ordered it from o2 Sunday night on the free postage option and its here already which is good
Im really impressed with it, I've had a little play before putting it on charge. The camera quality looks impressive although I've not put anything on the pc yet. The games look very excellent, the tennis and rafting ones imparticular.
It has the o2 icon and startup and shutdown screens but I can live with that I guess.
I've really enjoyed reading this thread over the last few months and its done well, pursuading me to go with this over the Sendo X  It will be a shame when this thread is locked.
Expect to see some K700 content on my wap site soon cos I suspect I may be too much of a cheap-skate to buy a bluetooth dongle

I have a vague memory that I read on the SE site when this phone was announced that you could listen to the radio via Bluetooth headset. I'm guessing this is not the case seeing as no-one has mentioned it?
I really missed the radio feature after I went from a 8310 to a T68i, so as soon as I found out the K700 had one, i had to have it, but the wires are rather annoying when you've got used to the wonders of wire free Bluetooth headsets. |

Didnt i just say that ? 
They told me id get the K700 by Friday unless the delivery doesnt arrive until late on Thursday, then i'll have to wait until Monday, but its no big deal. CPW probably wont have any instore until July i bet, or 30th June the earliest.
I forgot to ask about the USB cable.. doh.. oh well, who got a cable with theirs ?

Dont know if this was already mentioned but during a call, pressing in the joystick button makes a menu come up with nifty options like..
* Record the telephonecall
* Transer call
* Use loudspeaker
etc etc

Yeah its the same as the T610 etc.. except the other phones never had loudspeaker.

I bought one off ebay last week from Hong Kong. I should have had it on Friday, unfortunately it seems that some dirty SOB at Parcelforce has stolen it. It arrived in the Parcelforce Hub after going through customs but that was the last time it was seen. GREAT!!! |
