yes it does. Certain questions seem to keep coming up over and over again.... so a short search would provide you with an answer a lot faster than posting yet another thread and waiting for some good samaritan to reply

The space for that thread could be used for some reallyinteresting topic instead.

There are so many posts on this forum, chances are... most questions have been answered once. Looking first never hurt anybody

actually, those stats are still wrong. the t616 has 840min of talk time and 315hr of stand by time as well. that's been wrong for a while.

Dude, Kasei,

Did you even read the posts above? All the phones are NOT the same! True that they are completely identical, but there is one difference. The T616 functions on the US networks of 850 and 1900, and the "out of the US" frequency of 1800, while the other phones function on 900 and 1800 and 1900. Yeesh, get your facts straight before you post!

*sigh*

Why are you on Esato? You don't read previous posts.

The T616 functions on the US networks of 850 and 1900, and the "out of the US" frequency of 1800. This means, that, Yes, you can use it outside of the US, but in limited areas, as it is not a Quad Band phone.

The T610 functions on 900 and 1800 and 1900, meaning that, Yes, it can function in the US, but in limited areas, also, as it does not have the ability to fully function on both of the US's frequencies.
