T610 software |

My girlfriend has a T610. She has tried installing the synching software that came with it on our pc and has tried to connect the phone using the base that came with my p800. Unfortunately, the pc does not appear to be recognising that it is connected. I had I major headache myself with the software that came with my p800 but eventually got it to recognise my phone was connected. Has anyone else had similar problems with the T610 software and possibly suggest where we are going wrong??? |

I seem to remember hearing reports that the sync station for P800 would not work with a T610?
Not having either I cannot be 100% though

I haven't succeeded in using the base with my Z600 yet but then I haven't really tried very hard yet
I was planning to spend time this weekend, however I just had a quick play and got it to work.
when you have put the T610 into the cradle you will need to right click on the "phone connection link" in the system tray and choose properties. There you will see USB is ticked so untick it and note the COM port.
Then go to control panel and open "Phone monitor properties" and goto the "COM Ports" and be sure that the noted com port is enabled.
you will have to disable this com port and re-enable the USB (i.e. undo these changes) to revert back to syncing the p800/p900

the syn-cradle for P800\900 will never work with any other SE models for the moment, there are no drivers yet for them.....

yes you can use the P900 cradle to do stuff to a T610. i have a P900 and we used its cradle to transfer pictures using the SE image editor to my girlfriends T610. DONE IT. why else would SE's image editor need you to select the phone type on the CD that comes with the P900? |
