Following on from my Stick your finger in your ear to hear caller with new phones thread I see now an article on mobileburn regarding the "First Bone Conduction Phone

"The Tu-Ka company in Japan has just released the world's first handset using bone conduction technology. Bone conduction is designed to send vibrations to your ear through the skull, transmitting the other person's voice. It is especially useful for the elderly or hearing impaired, as well as for use in noisy environments."

That will be good for my son when he grows up. As he wears a bone conducting hearing aid at the moment.

it does sound humerous when you first read it but as the article says is is a serious application for elderly and hearing impaired

(no jokes on my use of the word humerous either! )

just because you have issues with people trying to be humerous...

no need to make this a bone of contention, or i might have a bone to pick with you.
