O2 Online sim is excellent for GPRS access, but ive heard that the unlimited downloads will be changed by the end of march! Ive downloaded over 20meg and it hasnt cost me a penny!
Everything is OK in the end, If It's Not OK, then it NOT the End!

not sure if this is whats happening but its possible. ive found that if i top up by twenty pounds in one go or ten pounds twice within my 30 day period then my free txt will start again next month without actually having to top up within that month itself. does that make sense to anyone cus it dont to me lol

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me I recently bought an o2 x1 active mobile phone and the free 300 texts and wap sim, after about a week using it The free texts stopped there was no way i'd used up 300 texts maybe 100/150 but that's it. Anyway apparently when you top up your supposed to get a text or something saying you've got 300 free texts is that true? (because I didn't get one)
Thanks!

Have you run out of credite because as soon as your balance is 00.00 then your free texts and wap freezes uyntil you top-up again.

You have to ring or email O2 and get data access enabled for your SIM card. When I got a Panasonic GD67 (uggghh) a while ago the GPRS wouldn't work, so I emailed O2 using their website and they activated it. It's worked like a dream since then and I still seem to get unlimited free GPRS. It really is an amazing deal from O2, 300 free texts, free internet and all for £10 a month, which you get to spend on calls anyway so it actually costs nothing. I'd be nuts to change

Before I got my phone upgraded today I got a text message from O2 talking about something relating to GPRS being charged for - I got this morning while I was still in bed and didn't read it properly when I saw it was from O2, now it's gone and I don't know what it said...

I always thought that we got 300 minutes of free WAP and a certain amount of free GPRS, but I don't know how much it was. If they're starting to charge for it that sucks a bit, maybe someone's finally spotted that too many people are getting it free?
