Nokia is past, SonyEricsson is the future. T68 rocks. |

Nokia seem to miss a phone with all the features "packed into one".
They have 2-3 models with nice features, but the features are divided between the models.
One has bluetooth, the other colorscreen,..and so on.
The one that comes close, is the 7650, and thats a different kinda phone.
I'm usually not comparing things, but in this particular case, I think Nokia should have looked at the T-68,..and made a phone with similar features.
Nokia can see, that the T-68 sells really well,..its very popular. Because its got all the features in ONE phone.
All they need to do, is either put colorscreen on the 6310i, or put bluetooth in the 7210, instead of radio.
These two phones have nice features like e.g. java.
I believe this would do the trick.

I agree with Jan
Look at how many models Nokia have out there, and none have the all-in-one that is the T68. However the T68 is not as complete as it should be. If it had poly ring tones, now it would be the ultimate phone.
Unless the mms f/w unlocks hidden hardware in the phone, we don't have it. Shame
Wanna hear some poly tones?

Nokia seems to be getting the idea about needing to go tri-band, but somehow, I feel they just want to milk their customers by dividing the features into diff phones.
Why not put them all in one, like the T39 or T68, right?
I'm not going back to Nokia unless they finally make a phone that's truly worth my time and money. |

i dont see why polyphonic ringtones are an advantage to a phone. If they are any similar to the sony j5, you cant hear them in a busy place, only able to hear them in a quiet area. "normal" ringtones travel thru the air much easier, and are so much easier to hear.
I personally dont like the 7210 very much. Radical, modern design, but it deosnt really work. Again nokia using the xpress on covers, shows that the proudct is aimed at the younger/trend setter generation. No competition for our humble business like T68 |

Hi I am looking the conversation here.
I have to say i was have nokia cell phone to all my live was never had a problem with that. Now I change to T68 the only way i did that is because i study in New York and the T68 is the only good phone who support GSM 1900.I am very disappointment from sonyericsson. My phone run the R1B any i have a couple of problems with this.I dont have GPRS/WAP access my phone is very very very very SLOW!!! And its freeze when the battery is in the middle pay for this phone 500$ tell me a reason why not to change? And last I am sure if i buy the 7210 in few months i am sure nokia is not gonna be release 7210i or something like the SE who release the T68i just 15 days after i buy their new hi end phone. This is not serious. We are all costumers and don't tell me i can update my phone whenever update i put T68 is T68 and T68i is T68i.The nokia is the number one company in the list with 35% on the market and the sonyericsson is on 5th with just 5.5% and have to pass the siemens the samsung and the motorola! That's the true that's the real! The Sonyericsson have just one good phone or (i am sorry two now) T68 and T68i but nokia all the phones who they have are all the best in theirs categories! Believe me i am a computer programmer I have pass all my live with the technology I know. Sonyericsson just trick us with T68 and the color display that's it. Color display???256 colors? My old game gear have more colors than this....What are you talking about.....Thing again Thing clear see the real world!

I forget to tell the only way that can make the nokia to loose the game is the 3G market. And that's not why is the sonyericsson but because its Microsoft. Microsoft work in operating OS for cell phones. The nokia right now said they are not gonna support that os and they are gonna make NOKIA OS of their phones. So you see its very difficult for nokia to stay near the Microsoft! That's the only problem you have to worry but waiting for the 3G I can enjoy my 7210!!!See you!

My T68 is my first Ericsson and I have to say it is a little disappointing. Very slow and awkward to enter SMS and new contacts etc. I think the user interface would have to be vastly improved before I would consider buying another Ericsson. |

techies move with the times and buy from whoever has the current top product.
Ericcson have brought out 1 good phone in the past 4/5 years...t68...i don't count the budget models as we're talking top notch product here not middle of the road or giveaway territory.
pledge allegiance to one brand and your showing your age or lack of exposure to the phone industry...not knocking you mobile newcomers but some of you guys talk more than an ounce of sh**...and as i've said before...it's a phone not a bloody football team. |
