As we all know now, Nokia will release two new phones with colordisplay. The 7210 and the new 8310 with colordisplay. (take a look at some Mobile-site to see pictures of NOkias new phones)

We don't have any pictures of the 8310 now though.

The 7210 and the 8310 has more colors than we have on our T68i. Second of all, it has Java, MMS, polymorphic ringtones.

I might change from my T68i to Nokia if the new Nokia phones looks good, and the SMS texting is faster.

Do you change? What must Nokia have to make you change phone?

Nokia had enough trouble with the reliability of their normal monochrome screens. You expect better? Read any nokia forum and see the list of complaints against the 8310, LCD, hanging etc etc. Ok we know SE realised the T68 crippled with some features missing from the phone that could have been included at launch (image browser, mms etc). But at least the phone was stable and reliable.

Until nokia sort out their quality standards, and secondly issue global warranties, i ain't going near another one.

Thankfully nokia have helped me keep that promise i made to myself, those new phones have taken a severe beating with the ugly stick

Hehe. Well, I have difficulties to believe Nokia after I've been "betatester" for them in 4-5 years.

I'm changing to 8310 with colordisplay if it has bigger colorscreen and I hear that it contains NO BUGS within the release.

I have to consider with myself considering the 7210. The buttons isn't ergonomicaly placed, it looks difficult to handle it\writing SMS. Take a look yourself.

Before I possibly buy a Nokia phone I have to check for bugs and try it in the store first. Big IT-sites who tests phones doesn't normally test it for a long time, and therefore they don't discover the amount of bugs.

I just can't imaging 8310 with a colorscreen, it's a small screen on 8310 right? Jupp, I'm right. If they make a bigger screen on the 8310, it'll not be 8310 anymore. Well, I have to think about it.

7650 is comming to you know.

AND one more thing. Why can they be so damn stupid and don't install Bluetooth on it? Don't they want to sell and make money on it? Financial stupid.

Do you have any dimension on the 7210? Centimetres?

And what do they mean with Java? What do we get with Java?

By Java it means you can download java applications (games, on-line games, whatever, you-name-it) in much the same way as with your own PC

Hurray!
Long live the 7210!!!

Bluetooth being an Ericsson developed product, maybe they dont want to support a competitor.

Java? With Java you can download applets and run on your phone, anything from games to calculators (with Sin, Tan, Cos etc) to whatever can be squeezed into the phone memory.
