My 3COM USB Bluetooth add on doesn't show up in the "phone connection link"
Anyone have an idea how I can fix this? |

Does your bluetooth function properly. Can the 3com BT see the p800?
Also check the drivers for your BT.... very doubt it is the p800. |

Yes the P800 shows up in 3com's BTmanager. But the com port (6) doesn't show up in the 'phone connection link'
Anyone know where I can buy the TDK BT usb dongle in Belgium? It's most likely the 3Com BT dongle that's the problem so I guess I need to switch to the TDK one. |

Too bad... That didn't work either... The virtual com ports don't appear in the "phone connection link" window... and when connecting to the serial port of the P800 I only get errors in the BT-manager...
Just installed the latest version of 3com's BT-drivers & manager but that didn't change a thing... |

I can send stuff to my phone via bluetooth (3com PCMCIA card), but have never been able to sync. The sync manager always says the port is in use.

If I could only find the TDK BT USB dongle in a shop in Belgium... The drivers and software are so so so much better... |
