Neither one of those kicks 7650's ass, and you know it as well as I do.
They're completely different in every aspect, the OS of 7650 alone makes it superior to t68 and t610.
The points they score against 7650 is in size, third band and BT headset, all other categories they loose.
T610 is aimed as a rival towards 7250, and that's a pretty tight game. |

I will not succumb to this obvious flamebait except to say this;
Devilman, I do hope it is flamebait, cause if it is not, I will never be able to take you serious. You do obviously not grasp the basic premises of the discussion you so boldly think you have a point in.

3G? japan is the first in the world to have it. go do some research on that. how many of them did carry out a 3G phone and how many subscriber.
u have to compare egg and egg... don't tell me u get a ferrari to compare with a volvo.
and further more... hell we don't know the market.... but as a brilliant users like most of us... compare the technology, design, and others... we might be someone who can change the market.... don't forget that.
consumer is the one who determine the market..... and i can see the changes in SEA that is getting more and more popular. in m'sia itself.... after the T100 launched... it been sold for 37k units within 1/2 year.... meaning.... with reasonable price and suitable tech. people will not still to nokia anymore....
always remember that.... Nokia origin is a plastic company.... they r not a telecommunication company.... they good in makin Housing(faceplate).

Okay Okay maybe I was wrong to compare the T610 to the Nokia 6650. Maybe I should compare it to the Nokia 7650’s. But the 7650 is already out and by the time SE release the T610 Nokia will have any shit phone to put against the T610.
Let’s have a quick vote.
How many people will go for the 3G network when it comes out?
Because I know for sure that I will be one of them. My name is already down on the 3 website. I thought I was in a form where people liked the technology their phones bring to them and not just brand loyalty .
How faraway is the SE Z1010 before it comes out; to me it seems very faraway. Yes maybe I should compare the SE Z1010 to the Nokia 6650. If that’s the case I know very well which the BETTER phone is. Thank you very much SE
P.S
When I started this thread I never knew people would feel as strongly as I do about these things

there may well be plenty here who will give 3g a whirl, but in market terms we're not really a representative sample, are we? face it, we're geeks. there's still a huge mass of non-geek people out there who use their phones for one thing only- talking to people. the high price of 3G is not going to appeal to them for a second.
the success of 3g is not a forgone conclusion, even in the long term. |

SE has changed its way of launching phones the t310 has just been presented at cebit this week and i got it in my shop yesterday, its all sold out allready, if they say the t610 will be out in q2 i think we can believe them, thats why theyve only got 2 new gsms at cebit and in a few monts time they'll launch a few more and so on.

T68 was launched years ago and now Nokia just seem to be catching up but still is not up to par. So why bother about 3G when nobody even knows when it will really be widely use. Just stick to the best phone around NOW. Which I think T610 will be the best around. |

The PRICE of 3g is the key to whether it will be a success!

WRONG AGAIN....
You cannot compare a smartphone with a phone! Try again... You maybe find something that can be compared to the T610 (though I doubt you will find anything at all)
To make your life easier... try a non-Nokia phone... because Nokia's do lack technology
PS: Even if we do compare 7650-T610, the Nokia Smartphone will lose in terms of screen quality, bluetooth profiles, picture quality.... do you want me to continue?

i think nokia has something up it's sleeve. they do not announce to the world what they are cooking up hastily. when 3g finally comes that's when they will unleash their cellphones of mass destruction. nokia knows how the market runs and that's the reason why they are still number one and nokia needs no help, financial or technological otherwise to keep their mobile machine afloat unlike other companies who almost closed shop due to bad marketing, product and tech errors.

Nokia knows how to market..period. They were NEVER ahead with technology. Not once... EVER. They never developed anything, so how could they be ahead in terms of technology? They're user friendly... that's about it. And you can change your cases into those cute ones. Nokia is a mass-market company. That's it. Nothing more. |

I think we should already take in to account the other players in the market and not just Nokia. As of now, the one with the huge potential is Motorola. They are trying to get back what Nokia took from them. Siemens phones look very good as well. Samsung is starting to be more aggressive in their marketing. It's hard to tell who will be no. 1 this year. |
