I managed to have a play with a GS5 yesterday in CPW, the sales rep actually opened a new box for me to have a look at it 
It was lovely, the screen is gorgeous and the camera took lovely crisp clear shots, plus it was lighter than my Z1 and felt really good to hold.

Yes it is indeed a great screen one of the few I can see in sunlight

Yeah we couldn't stop the road was narrow and cars behind with no view points on the road side. This was a kind of slightly forward out the side window view as if it was totally sideways it would have come out distorted with an odd looking photo

Galaxy S5 destroys the Xperia Z2 in Display, Camera, overall Performance, Audio, Utilities... it pretty much owns the Xperia Z2. What gets me is the camera incredible job by Sammy on that brilliant ISOCELL Camera, how unfortunate for those who hated on Samsung's sensor

As a current owner of the S5 and previous have had the Z2(2weeks) I can confirm that the S5 is the better phone

The Z2 has a slower CPU and a larger battery, no surprise in it scoring better.

Can I ask what you like more on S5 vs Z2? What makes you say s5 is better? I am curious about the Z2 so would love to hear how it is compared to a Samsung.... |

I find the ergonomics of the S5 better, it is lighter and fits better in my hand. The screen on the S5 is brighter and more crisp and better in sunlight. The camera on the S5 takes better pictures and shoots better videos ( a lot of pictures were out of focus on the z2)
USB 3.0. And I appreciate its Heart rate monitor and the Fingerprint sensor
Am not saying that the Z2 is a bad phone but the camera was a let down and I find the phone too big and heavy for a 5,2 incher. It also had heat issues. I love the Walkman player tho
