I hope so. It looks boring and unoriginal. The specs also scream 2013.
If its true, i'll probably be going down the HTC / Sony / LG route with my upgrade this year.

I think GSMArena has correct specification.
This phone has 16/32GB internal memory, no 4k video recording. It's weird, this phone kind of sucks compared to Z2. |

Yeah, I was expecting 3,000mAh minimum. I presume their ultra power saving feature makes up for the lower battery capacity than we were expecting.
I must admit I take back my previous comment, now ive seen the blue version I like how it looks. But it did need a refresh of how it looks, which they simply haven't. I know they banged on about it being palm friendly with its silly designed for humans slogan with the S3, but they could have kept that theory with a bit more effort in the design.
2014 appears to be the year of lazy development. This looks the same as the S4 & S3, HTC's phone looks the same, Sony's Z2 looks the same as the Z1..
They don't seem to be putting the effort into the hardware at all. I wanted OIS minimum but ive not heard it mentioned once.

Great to see Samsung using their high quality plastic again in a £600 flagship device. So the star of MWC is the Sony Xperia Z2. Could Samsung finally be on a downward spiral now Sony, Nokia and maybe even HTC are coming for them they have become static just like Apple have done with the iPhone until iOS7. Samsung you only have yourselves to blame.
