How come the Lumia 920 with S4 krait manages such poor browser performance ? Browsermark score is about 55k, similar to Xperia J and much behind S,T and the big guys GS3/Note II/Iphone 5

It seems to be a problem tied to wp8 and not the lumia or the s4 since the ativ s and the 8x have similar score.
I personally don't get what I'm supposed to think about the score. The browser is very fast and fluid and renders everything very well. Some browser comparison video showed that it's as fast as the iphone 5 browser and my own testing showed that it's sometimes faster than the one x or the same.

I have yet to find where this low score in browsermark is being a hindrance to my browsing. Besides that if it's about benchmarking all the WP8 phones beat every other phone when it came to javascript.

Picked mine up this morning. Had every intention of going to get a yellow or red version from phones 4u but after seeing them both in the flesh I decided against it. Both looked a bit "toytown" to me. Went to my local EE shop and plumped for the black version, like the way the camera strip and buttons are now a dark grey colour rather than the chrome. The white version is nice but only available on EE 4g contracts apparently in the UK.
Haven't done a great deal with it yet, been watching the football (c'mon you Gooners 😃). Can't wait for the 7.8 update for my Lumina 800 now. Gonna sync it later with my Surface tablet and get all my media on it. Looks like it'll be a nice day tomorrow to take some pictures 😊
Regards

No not yet it's very expensive,and also wanna wait for bugs to be ironed out. Also,am on pay as you go now and my name is blackened by non paid contract as I had big dispute with T Mobile. Will wait for 7.8 on Lumia 800 for time being.

Played with a live working 920 today. Not that big nor heavy. One thing I noticed,gorgeous as the screen is the colours didn't pop like on the Lumia 800 screen but it still looks nice and really sharp.

P.s
Guarulhos, go there and steal some photos and put them on the gallery as "your creations".

I wanted to compare the Nokia 920 (1st pic) with -1/3 exposure vs Galaxy Note 2 (2nd pic). The Nokia definitely captures more light during dim morning lighting but just not sharp enough.

@2Slow...

Strongly Agree With You !

Nokia Urgently Need Fix It In Next Update Firmware, Of The 920 PureView LITE Has A Great Potential In "Theory", But In Practice is Just Average And Represents Only A Reissue Of 8 MP Of "Mediocre" SONY XPERIA T !
