And that's exactly how it is.
Everything just seems much more polished than in wp7. Though there are still a few little things missing that I hoped would be part of wp8 but that's not nokias fault here. Had one random restart so far but I think that was because of some app not working.
In general it's a joy to use and that screen is just amazing. Being able to use it with my leather gloves is a blessing during the cold mornings.
Battery is holding up really well compared to the 800 which had a bit of trouble getting me through a day of heavy use sometimes. The 920 has no such problems but don't expect to be amazed by the battery life. It's pretty good but nothing too amazing.
The phone seems to heat up a bit after heavy use above the camera area but nothing that bad.

In general I would say that the hardware is top notch and the phone is worth it's money. Those who already liked wp7 should love wp8 in combination with the 920 especially with all the little pieces of hardware and software nokia put into it.

I'm really anticipating the arrival of wp8 specific apps.

Cool Well, some people have reported bad battery but let me say this. Most new phones need a good charge or two before they are better battery wise. Most reviews have said the battery life is good. The 800 had battery problem but mine is fine now lasts a whole day. As for heating up and restarting some have said the same but early firmware I would say that may happen and we all know Nokia is best for updates. Most new phones have bugs. I would be more concerned if my phone didn't get a bit warm coz that would mean heat is trapped inside. A pc gets warm that has 2 cores it's normal and in such a small portable device it will become warm. Windows 8 is new and some issues will arise but so far I have not heard many issues with Windows Phone in reviews. And even Windows 8 pc has been good. One user complained they had dust under their screen but that is a rare manufacturing problem. Glad you're enjoying it

Not only that, when You buy new phone You tend to play with it much more often, which drains battery. It's not the issue with an older phone which You just use as You need to.

I keep draining my battery, even after a year now. I use my phone for almost everything. I hardly use the pc anymore.

I still like to use pc. To transfer music, view photos etc and still see the net how it should be. This photo by the 920 is good for night shot, slight blur due to probably user and not much noise

Here some have said out of the box battery was poor, which in most cases is the same for most phones until battery is conditioned. Then most reported it improved alot after a fee charges. People over reacting

I transfer media from my laptop to phone via Bluetooth, so i just mark what i want on the laptop for like 10mins, then go to the lounge and use my phone while all the media gets transferred in the background, only time i sit in front of my laptop is when doing uni assignments. As for web browsing, Google Chrome and the built-in JB Browser display and handle websites beautifully especially when i browse in landscape.

They say not many issues so far with any apps apart from a Gmail issue but that is with MS not Nokia causing it to continually sync without dropping.
