Siemens were making phones YEARS before they aquired Bosch's Mobile Arm. I remeber wanting the C10 so much around 1997-98 even before the last Bosch went into production.

BTW: Motorola m3788e on Orange for my first phone, (It was terrible!), Then Ericsson T20s and now Ericsson T65 (Still on UK Orange)

Ericsson GH388. Used for a year then changed to GF788 ( the first smallest fone at the time ).

My first handphone was a Nokia. Can't recall the model, but it was big and ugly. Battery would run out after one day of use!! This was back in '94.

my first was a Philips Diga: cheap and lightweight (for those days) but with horrible ringtones and a one line display for sms. Horrible!

the first mobile i got was an alcatel one touch easy [a blue/green one with flashy yellow LEDS]in 1997/8
sorry, i was only 13
but then a year later a "matured" and got an ericsson T20 and since then only bought SE [r600>t300>t610] [addsig]
