I am getting an SPV tomorrow for free, which can't be bad. Got rid of my T68i a month ago and I have been using the old R380 for this month. I am unsure about the P800 because the only thing that matters to me is MP3 and although P800 can play MP3s I am sure you cannot store a lot of them on the phone. Also, it can only work with normal memory stick duos and not the magic gate ms duos. I am planning to buy a 512Mb SD card for the SPV and store a whole lot of MP3s.
But saying that I should point out that I am a bit nervous about getting the phone as it is missing Symbian and running on microsoft which is terrible and this is the only thing that I think lets the phone down badly. Nevertheless, I will only be using the SPV only for some months before 3G is rolled out in the UK. |

well you will have 512 MB but you will be able to play just 1 hour 46 minutes on your SPV.
for p800 u will get in march 128MB duos and you will be able to play cuntinuosly music for 5 hours 46 minutes*... on 1 bat. charge.
Now tell me which is more usefull spv or p800
i see only 1 winner now p800.

P800 and SPV are TERRIBLE MP3 players. Buy an iPod for christ sake! It's not that expensive anymore and believe me, you'll love it. |

5 hours and 46 minutes on a 128Mb ms duo. Are you a 100% positive about it? Cuz now I am having second thoughts, but then again I will only be using SPV for a few months. Looks like P800 is gonna beat every other phone's ass when it is released

The quality of MP3s cannot be that bad on the P800 or SPV. I agree that the Apple i-pod is the way to go if you want high quality MP3s but I cannot be bothered to carry two things around. I like the idea of having just phone that can do anything you like on the move. Again, I should mention SPV will be with me for only a few months before 3G networks/handsets are released. |
