People say they have to charge the SPV every day! The software is very unstable too, like its still in beta testing!

Some people in here are die-hard SE fans, I'm not, but I am however a Symbian fan and never in a million years would I touch a phone running M$ OS! Never. Never. N E V E R!

Sendo has moved away from PocketPC, Samsung has hedged it's bets by supporting both this and Symbian. Have you read the news for Orange SPV in the U.K.?
http://uk.biz.yahoo.com/030129/80/doz89.html
Orange only sold 40,000 of them over Christmas. In real terms, that's not great. It's not going to get a lot of support...

plus the fact that you can't install "home made" apps without hacking the software... and that probaly wont be possible after the next upgrade... (and the upgrades are really essential when the os is so crappy... trust me i had one... and i cursed all day long at it) with p800 everything is good...

Yes, and the P800 has better stats.
If you use the SPv as much as you'd use a P800, then you'd be recharging the SPV within 10 hours. |

I would never touch a Microsoft based mobile phone. It's full of bugs and has lousy standbytime.
I read on the danish mobil site that the new SPV update that fixed some earlier bugs introduced some new ones. If you use Keylock with the new software the SPV hangs when you get an SMS. Microsoft in a nutshell... |

Hehe, just checked out Mobil as well (www.dk.mobil.nu). The site also says that the latest SW version that was expected to enable the extra three Danish letters on the phone (Æ, Ø and Å) would NOT add this basic feature to the phone after all. The same goes for T9.
So, if I understand this correctly (and I think I do), this is a phone with max ONE day stand-by time, buggy MS software, poor library of applications, NO T9 and NO Scandinavian letters (which is a big deal, try writing English without 'a'). This sure is a great alternative to P800
Also, Orange will not promise when they can fix the problems. I unofficially declare MS Smartphone 2002 dead. |

but you in your very first post already ebtablished you liked the SPV because it has LESS feature! how do you even expect us to follow that argument? Actually a Nokia would be best for you. In the very least it runs symbian.

Only N7650/3650 and N92## are Symbian powered, and in fact the 3650 scores higher than the SPV on features.
