And as it is, when viewed on the phone, the video in the C905 looks way better..
And the build quality was a problem in the initial batches, the latter batches are rock solid. And what Nokia releases wont be a beast, wilbe a pauper, coz the beasts have already captured the market.
A camera is a device that records images, either as a still photograph or as moving images known as videos or movies.
Find me a digicam that doesn't offer video recording and then I'll agree with you that QVGA video doesn't matter on a cameraphone flagship. |

I'll look at it from another side; a phone is a device that is used mainly to make and receive calls. Although this logic doesn't take away the few faults of C905's camera unit.
So if you would, please find a digicam flagship that can make phone calls

I have owned 3 N82:s before my c905 and i dont want to change back thats for sure.
The N82 is an impressive piece of allrounder but i like the menues of SE much better and everything feels like it should (for me) with SE.
The real letdown with N82 is the outdoor pictures when you have much grass, trees and so. It becomes oilpaintings and doesent look any good at all. On this area the c905 is much better. The pics arent overprocessed and looks much better. A small ammount of sharpening is needed for the c905 pics but itīs so easy to do in a photo-editor afterwards.. I feel the c905 to be much better at exposure also and handles sun/light and other things much better.
Indoors itīs quite even but when using the flash i think the N82 is the better one. It captures more realistic skintones and works really well. c905 has some troubles with this but is not that far behind. And firmware upgrades in the future can change this.
The greatest advantage the c905 has is the user interface regarding the cam. It also saves your settings between shots and that is so incredibly useful for people like me who takes many pictures. Shortcut keyes to the main functions are also something Nokia users have wanted for eyars but there is no way to get this in N82. c905 are much faster between shots to, i remember being frustrated alot with the N82 because it felt to take forever before i could take a new shot. This might depend on the memorycards i used ofcourse and might not be the phones fault. But all 3 of my N82:s felt slow regarding this.
GSP i think Nokia is the better one because of Nokia Maps. It is very easy to use and fast. The maps are pre-loaded also so the traffic cost will be lower using the GPS. However the maps seems very outdated. I dont know how often Nokia updates them but i have "new built" roads here that the Nokia didnīt show even after around 2 years after they was completed. (Ofcourse i updated my maps using Map loader)
Nokias web-browser is also a little bit better i think even though the c905:s copes quite well.
Im no "High-tech" user who installs many programs and stuf like that. I mainly take pictures, sms, calls and sometimes use the web with wifi. All these things both of them manages really well. I guess itīs up to personal likings in the end. I canīt say that c905 is amazingly much better but it suits me better.

well, but saying c905 take better pictures then N82 is hilarious. c905 night and lowlight quality is far behind in every aspect, even daylight is often a bit behind against N82 (colours, sharpness, etc).
c905 "mixed" buildquality could be quite much better IF SE had used a more solid casing-material.
I agree that c905 Xenon flash is better, N82 (nearly) often produce this Zoombie look on people faces.
(question: Is Sonyericssons quality controll good enough ? or is it just some specific factory(s) who have failed). |

I'm gonna sticky with my N82.Looks like C905 is just another plain SE with 8mp cam reflecting its mediocrity. |

For now I'll stick with C702 although I wouldn't mind a C905 for Wi-Fi needs.

The choice is definitely the SE C905. I'm still a user of N82. But for pictures u can't beat the C905 except innov8 but a camera without Xenon is no good at all. if u want an all in one device go for innov8 but if u want to take amazing pictures and if u take many pictures at night without hesitation C905 is ur phone... |
