If INNOV8 is out of your budget then I recommend C905 or one of the other 8mp cameraphones

the innov 8 is the best daylight shooter the only one that comes close is renoir ...but if you wan't a overall camera go for c905 (xenon is the reason)and better quality in daylight than the N82
For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice |

Build quality is way better than any damn Nokia phone out there.Have out ever tried the N85. And its a slider, comparing it to a candybar is utter foolishness.
i thought we were talking about camera, where did video recording come into the picture??
And as it is, when viewed on the phone, the video in the C905 looks way better..
And the build quality was a problem in the initial batches, the latter batches are rock solid. And what Nokia releases wont be a beast, wilbe a pauper, coz the beasts have already captured the market.
Video recording has been a part of cameraphones for ages so it's not rare that with good quality photos also comes with good recording. Sure it may look nice on the phone, but showing it to other people on a 2.4 inch really doesn't suffice unless you feel like passing it around and it's not much better on the computer screen, although the N82 doesn't win points in the screen either, but at least it has VGA recording, and it came out in 2007. The C905 came out in 2008 and SE were still stubborn about putting in VGA recording. The quality might be good, but why can't it just be a little bit bigger? They market it has a Cybershot phone, but guess what, Cybershot cameras have VGA recording or better, why can't a flagship Cybershot phone have it as well?
Also, the picture quality on the N82 rivals the C905. They pretty much tie for photo quality as pictures from both phones have the C905 with better quality and pictures with the N82 with better quality so there really isn't a reason to switch from the N82 to the C905 other than a bigger picture as you will lose features that the N82 has that the C905 doesn't, and the GPS on the N82 is better. Other 8MP phones' quality seem to be better than the C905 in sharpness and color and the only advantage the C905 has over them is that it has a xenon flash.
Build quality might have improved, but software glitches still seem to occur. Build quality better than any Nokias out there? You obviously never handled an E-Series. The E66 has a rock solid slider that DOESN'T scratch the keypad.
I'm not saying that the C905 is a bad phone, but it's not worth it to switch from a N82.

A few batches may be a bit on the worse side. But the latest batches are great without any troubles. And I meant the N series. If you compare slider, E66 and the W760 fall in the same price range. No glitches. Look at the N81/N95/N85 for cmparison. |

AFAIK the latest batches just arrived to the stores so they haven't been used for ~2 months yet. But who knows, maybe you can travel in time? |

Whether Before W45 or after W45 either way there will always be some that are full of glitches and some that arent, theres NO doubt about it. Same with the Nseries, ive now had my N81 for over a year, yet NO cracked gaming keys, no creaks, always had a tight battery cover etc. . .not realy faced the same probs that some others did, you cant guarantee that if its W45< it will be good.
