File Manager should be in Tools, otherwise go to your Stand By display, click on the Search: Internet and My Content bar and type in 'file ma' and it should bring it up in the results.

Thanks Gucci

But don't you think there should have been a straight access to this option. The later one you mentioned I usually do and is a kind of hassle. Any third party soft to do that job?

It makes sense to me since it is a tool, then again ive been an S60 user for almost 2years now so im used to it,but what you can do is take the File Mngr. app and move it to the Root Folder aka the Main Menu, just go to its icon click Options- Move to folder- Root folder, and also set it as a shortcut in the Stand By display.
Do you mean a 3rd party File Manager? Or a 3rd party app to Search? There isnt one for the latter, although 3rd party Taskmanagers such as HandyTaskman allow you to search for any app and set it as a shorcut so that you can easily access it without going through any Menus.

Go to office and there's is a file manger in the office folder which is located in the applications menu.

Are you guys seeing any lags or too many screen redraws? The N97 is a great phone, I'm just worried about its processor. ;/

^^^ I don't know what do you mean by screen redraws. But during a phone call the screen blinks after every two seconds and if you hold lock button on the left, screen goes off and pressing it again screen turns on but sometimes it doesn't happen and you have to press 2-3 times to make it work, which is not an issue I guess. One thing which I didn't like about N97, is the lack of a virtual keyboard, which could have been a plus and an ease of inputting text. But overall the phone is fast and the screen is responsive, no lags whatsoever up till now (at least with me).

What do you mean by "lack of virtual keyboard" ? It has just the same keyboard as the 5800 xpress if you want to. As soon as you click on a field where you can input text it pops up.

I was also a little bit annoyed at first because the auto rotation of the screen was off by default. (inside phone settings) Now i can tilt the phone and use it without the keyboard if i want. There are many ways of input text.

I updated the phone to v.11 without any problems. Nothing seems to be erased during the process and my contacts, cam pics and so on was still there.

I had some trouble with Map Loader and had to set the phone to mass storage to make it work. I figured that out after some cursing

The cam seems actually quite good for being in a smartphone. It runs fast and everything feels amazing so far.

i used this method and change the firmware to hk version without any problem. This is by far the easiest way to debrand your phone and u can change the firmware back easily!

Some shots from me, the cam produces quite oversaturated colours and often some yellowish tint but they are sharp so this is no big problem for me to tune them in pc later on.

I think its quite comparable with n82 in good light as someone said earlier, the same hard compression of pics are here. The pic size varies but seldom above 1mb. This compared to my c901 who are much better and have less compression.

Good cam for being in a smartphone though, it seems to work quite good indoors in bad light too.

I also tried the GPS and the FM-transmitter today and it worked fantastic, havent found any bug yet.

To be more specific, I am talking about full keyboard not alphanumeric.

I second the that. Virtual keyboard (full querty) shoud be there.. And I do not mean via third party appz but built-in by nokia. You should be able to switch between alphanumerical, full querty and handwriting..

Other than that, i find the phone quite good.

@Pitzon: nice pics..
