G900 model is really slow |

Hi, I've been trying to get help to make my SE G900 work faster but I can't seem to find help anywhere.
My current phone systems are:
Phone:1203-6566 R9N002
CDA: 1213-2204 R5A
Is this an older version of the software that I have? I have tried downloading the XS++ software as recommended but I can't seem to open that software.
Can someone help me? |

Your firmware is outdated. The latest organizer version & CDA are R6K842 and R6K836.
Check this thread for more info.

I've tried downloading or clicking on the website link to the xs++ software on the thread. However, I kepe hitting the webpage errror message. Is there anywhere else I can download this software.

I have managed to download the file but not able to run it. The extension is a .rar file. How do I run it? |

Download programs that open rar files such as winRAR. You may try http://www.downloads.com to search appropriate program. |

Hi,
Yeah finally got it but I didn't dare to perform this. Can't seem to get the gdfs backup output file and where i've installed the xs++ software, i don't have the backup file/ folder.
Do you think i should take it to the shop to do it instead? I'm afriad to lose everything on the phone. |

When I try to sms/ text, the screen hangs for a bit before it fully opens. When I scroll to get contacts and type the letter of my contacts, it hangs for at least 10 seconds before it moves.
Same for all the applications that I tried to open. |

I am having problems connecting to my phone with this software. When trying to connect I get this message:
12:07:17| Please hold boot key ('@' or 'C') and connect device...
12:07:45| Master Port detected: COM4
12:07:45| Slave Port detected: COM6
12:07:45| Opening Port!
12:07:45| Init Master Failed!
XS++ says it is connected still.
Any suggestions? |

My bad, I've managed to get it connected. Now for a stupid question. Where do I get updated firmware from and do you think it will correct the issue with my touch screen not responding? |
