Hi Ofiaich,
Have you got the GPS to work then?
Apparently once I get TT running I will need to install Gpsgate in order for it to use the internal GPS.

Oh yes! Not just a pretty face, pm-ed you back
ah! yes... I know what you mean. I thought you were having an operational issue rather than an install issue
you need to grab an XDA developers version of TT7 that doesn't check the platform its being installed on. I did have this same issue on the X1 but once I had the right executable, the maps that I own from 6.75 (which is really the licencable part) worked fine
just did a quick search over at XDA for that, but could not find it. Do you have a link ?

Hi !
listening to music and I do feel the sound from the Touch HD is much richer than the iPod Touch 32gb that I had...
I think my ears are as good as Ninja Simon Cowell with his "better open my mouth to enhance pharyngo-tympanic tube function, whilst at the same time tugging on my ear lobe' as taught by Ninjitsu warriors. ... as they prepare for their stealth attack,,,
Oh! back to my music !

...which I prefer anyway
btw, if you've got an old version of XT its worth downloading and installing the latest version 5 as its got more features and is laid out more like current Garmin GPS'

Hi everyone !
Enjoying my Touch HD but today first problem has cropped up.
This was my screen,
but it has become like this now..
sometimes the clock changes to just numbers that do not flip over.
I did install HTCPlus! but it did not work, so I uninstalled it.
I have tried a soft reset and do not want to do a hard reset !
I have also changed pictures in settings > today, and then rebooted the Touch HD and then tried to put the original picture back..
Any ideas?

Ofiaich; thanks for the response. I was wondering whether the phone is capable of recording video in vga resolution (640x480), as opposed to someone stating it only supports qcif-resolution 388x256 (or something similar, cant recall exactly). So if you can check the options in the video record settings what resolutions it supports, or record a sample video at the highest resolution and check the resulting videofile, i'd be very glad to hear the result. |

Last night and this morning, I can't get a GPS fix !
Any advice? I have to use other nmea receiver and I choose Baud Rate 4800 and COM 4.
Any advice appreciated,

Try GPSGate or port splitter! you may be experiencing the same difficulties I did!
