I just modded my K850i and W910i with Mollina's Mach5 Xplood II acoustic pack and wow its very loud and clear.. could some one please tell me that would this pack work as well on my W980 and W902 and make them also loud? and thanks |

@emzee_ali: I guess it must be the PHF file. Farfield's the back speaker. Don't know what the others are.
@ modders: I just need a much higher volume on the headset. Not just because it's louder, but for better dynamics. And therefore, I would also like DRC off.
I tried a lot of mods on C702 already, but they all give me a lot of distortion, especially with bass, and a somewhat muffled sound compared to my K800i with W880 sounddrivers and DRC off. Might DRC be the problem here? I don't know, just asking.
The same headphone with G900 and SoundModLight is really superb. Very loud and clear and only minor distortion levels at highest volumes. I would also like to know what trick was done here, as no sounddrivers had to be replaced. Thanks and hail to the modders.

farfield_play.wbxml- general sounds,music playing through loudspeaker.
farfield_ring.wbxml- ringing volume through loudspeaker,
PHF_2_play.wbxml- thi is responsible for headset( only playing music)
VHF_hce_60_ring.wbxml- vehicle hands free, i'm not familiar with tat.

VHF_ring.wbxml
Clear? Be careful don't upload any file with name 'mic' and 'fm' bec they may disable the mic.
But you can always use other files like above. Ex headset, loudspeaker files. |

I've tried almost all the acoustics uploaded by different people but found nothing amazingly different. W980 & W910 original one are almost same as that of K850i. Only Mollina's Mach5 Xplood III seem a bit better in terms of loudness & quality but bass is out of sort on the backspeaker with this acoustic pack & 1 thing more i couldn't get any louder sound with any of the acoustic packs in the handsfree. So finally i reverted back to the origianl ones as they are the best for now (for me) in terms of sound & quality.
Anyhow here are the original acoustic from K850i R1FA035.
