M610i / M600i are uiq, it's quite hard to do some flashing imo
Unlike DB2010 or DB2020 which you can reflash it yourself easily....

Why don't you try to take it to where you've bought it?

since M610 hasn't officially released i dont think you will get the firmware any where, you can try the update process via SEUS or better try searching the forums where ppl have flashed their M600 to W950 you can take a hint from those forums. I guess the only difference between the m600 and the m610 is the additional RAM correct me if m wrong.

mate, you can't flash a prototype on SEUS because its a prototype it has a different IMEI and its not commercial used. But if you know someone working in SE,you can ask him to flash it with the same firmware which are on the service computer

Rite, try spine6 advice
If i were you, i will take it to SE service center anyway cause it was the safest way yet you must pay though...

Acccess to EMMA (which probably you don't have) or service center (if any) can be the solutions... I have M610 aswell (mine's working fine) but flashing it by yourself is almost impossible. It is a brown smartphone prototype which has no updates included for. So only OFFICIAL service center can repair it.

No chance to fix it, only if you have EMMA access, or you know someone who does. A simple service point might not even have the right access to do such thing, you will need to ask, but it will surely cost you...

Yep, my problem has been fixed by a member of this forum who will remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

Long story short, a reflash is needed as there is no way to get into the file system to delete the file causing the loop (yet). Maybe the new PhoneXS will have it or the new jdflasher plgin for far.

But for now try to stick to signed software and official themes to prevent this.

I know this doesn't help you now, I was in the same boat as you. Maybe you know someone that works in a phone shop, know someone at a SE service centre or anyone else with EMMA access.

Its an internal network at SE for developers and service points for as far as I can see. You need a special card and a login to use the software. See also here: http://ma3.extranet.sonyericsson.com/
