So it means they have to use JohnnyX to advertise Xperia and for the rest of high end they would use The Bond. Am I right?

And now the Johnny X talk is over. Magnus Andersson joins them for a demonstration.

No problem.

Basically he has shown us the X1, focusing so far almost solely on the panels. They've shown the media browser which is normal SE fare, but touch based. He has shown us downloading new panels as well.

Ooh, a question from New Zealand! Not mine though.

A question (not the NZ one): "Will we be able to update to WinMo 7 when it becomes available?"

Answer: "No comment"

Some of the questions don't seem real. They are rather lame, like "does the X1 have GPS?" or "what is the memory?"

Anyone could find out those answers from the SE site in a few seconds.

Apparently the X1 will last about 1 day on a full battery. He was quick to say that we should be comparing it to a small computer though. Excuses, excuses!

Q: "Will we see more from the X1 brand?"

A: "We don't like to comment, but we are very interested." Lol.

Really?

The latest video from unwired shows the orientation changing instantly[/url].

Love the design of this phone though.

Regarding the battery, I guess thats one of the downfalls of using a fast processor clock speed.

He likes comparing the X1 to a fine suit because of its nice materials. I guess thats kind of an excuse for charging a high price.

A question was asked on the future of the P series. They said they don't want to comment on the future of the company once again.

And the webcast is over.

Yes, I saw that video and that is why I'm not too skeptical about its performance in the webcast. I bet Magnus was sweating like hell when he saw how slowly it performed though!

Do you mind if I say.... I found this webcast sort of boring..

everything they said we sort of already known,
and then anything unknown they said "we dont like to comment".....
