hey techie guys out there, the long wait is finally over, the ipod 3g is now available in US, but im not really sure if it is exclusively available in AT&T. i saw the old version of ipod and its too pricey. it is not really worth the price. i mean, an obsolete technology from apple costs P23,000 (approximately $522) due to its exclusiveness. its very rare here and i think its available by order. |

iPhone 3G is listed as coming soon to the Phillipines, that probably means October or thereabouts. Check availability here.
Have you looked at my iPhone 3G photos and youtube video of the launch?
I had a play on the iPhone 3G 3hrs after release and it's a nice device to use, very intuitive, great for internet and keeping in contact but very limited in the features I want like BT profiles, no Camera settings, no video as everyone knows, its more of a 'play mutimedia' device than 'create multimedia files' like and Nokia devices are capable of. In NZ I believe it is currently 1/3 overpriced and when it gets cheaper, it'll certainly be worth having. But I must say (again) that side by side with my V640i, I was certainly impressed by how many quality features can squeeze into such as small and inexpensive package.
Overall, wait for a cheaper iPhone or a better featured one. The current cost/benefit ratio is supported only by hype.
