I thought that you have E90 because it fulfils your business needs. P1 is a true business phone and you always argued with me that not all nokia devices are mere multimedia phones, pointing on your E90,and I could only believed in what you said.
Now your above statement is quite strange as it actually shows me that you are not a business user but just say so, otherwise why would you buy iphone over P1 for example. First of all P1 proved to be fantastic smart phone and new iphone business features and apps are yet to be revealed. I would say that you are not objective at all and your anger with SE looms large in your posts.

Take dextrr's advice. You're seriously limiting yourself with uiq3 and its not just a particular phone its the whole platform. Like many people praising the iPhone I actually don't like Apple much but the iPhone is an excellent phone. You might lose mms but when you press something it happens instantly like it should.

@Dextrr

You really enjoyed much more creating word, excel and power point files on iphone. Or surfing the web for some information for your current project, copying what you find specially interesting and putting it in a word that you previously create as a reference file. Or managing a complex project, or making some financial calculations as EIR or NPV, or exchanging emails with office attachments. I seriously doubt it. The point is first iphone generation was not business oriented at all and that was a fact. This new iphone 3g is much more promising and I would be extremely happy if it proves to have a true business ability as it's UI and screen really deserve it.

I don't know what I missed as new iphone is not yet launched. I would be first to admit it's superiority if it really proves its business capacity. So far P1 is way ahead of iphone in that area whatever you might say and it is almost 1 year in my hands.

The E90 is one of the most powerful Symbian devices available with a full 57 key keyboard and large 4" screen it displays Documents and the Web better than any then any other device i have seen. Yes it also handles Multimedia very well and better then most devices due it's fast processor and graphics chip but first and for most it is a fully functioning Business device and one of the best at that IMO.

Id be quite intrigued aas to what youll think of the x1 when you eventually get to try one out or the htc touch pro etc, the e90 has indeed got a superb screen for browsing. Just out of interest Have you ever been tempted by an oqo2 or a vaio ux (i know they dont fit in your pocket but for business use they are superb.)

The New 3G iPhone ! Is this the begining of the end for the SE P AND X series?

Hahahahahahahahahahah LMFAO!!!!!

Just to let you know that was my reaction to your title. And no they won't kill SE off. In fact, Apple can only DREAM of having market share like SE do. Please remember SE sell more then one phone model.

Chris Moyles was on the radio this morning complaining that Apple has replaced his iPhone a year after he's had the first one!!!!! What an idiot, is this the thoughts of all iPhone owners, oh no my precious phone has been replaced, so just like every other phone on the market that's out of date when you buy it! Especially the iPhone.
People seem to think because it's Apple and the way they sell their products it's different to any other manufacturer?

@Dogmann, what phone do you have to use a 4" screen!!!!

Thanks dogmann, duuur didn't think of that.
I know what your saying, I'm the opposite, going to the G900 as it's the same as my P1 but smaller, 2.4 s fine for me. However if you use your E90 as a workhorse your a bit buggered for screen real estate. And I know it took Nokia ages to launch the E90. Any rumours of a new model?
What about one of the new NetBook PC's? Like the Acer Aspire One or EEE PC?

Londonlad, i have actually tried the iphone, and i am surely not limiting myself! SE UIQ phones still have no competition, besides wm devices (that i just dont like) in mixing touch screen and physical keypads. So, sum that and the iphone limitations (we have talked about them before), and you will see the iphone is just not an option, like any s60 phone isnt either btw. So, forgive me for not joining the sect.

Dogmman, save your precious words, i have read that all before, over and over.

iphone 2.0's cool... but it's just not my cup of tea.

not even planning to replace my nearly 2 year-old phone. i guess either my needs are just simple, or i'm becoming a boring old fart.

There is no way this is the end for anything in SE's line...this infant stage phone still lacking in features? Come on.
