Well Apple did it !! The new apple iPhone 3G with an impresive slue of prenstalled software, GPS, WiFi, etc. and the new APPLE App Store where a whole bunch of other applications can be downloded fo almost nothing ( most are free !!!)
And all this for only US $ 199 !!!!!!!
Well if SE don't come up with something new other than the X1 soon I know what my future phone will be.

The iPhone still sucks. It lacks some very basic features.
It's all just fancy animations and a touchscreen with a crappy resolution in my book. |

Well, the resolution on the screen is twice as high as qvga.

Yes the iPhone got a great User Interface, but lacks some basic phone features as we all know, i will prefer a hardware QWERTY keypad than a Touch screen one. I will get a SE Xperia X1, when it comes out. My P1 got better features than this crappy iPhone 3G IMHO. |

The thing I like about Apple is that when they announce a product they release it within weeks.
SE are really bad at releasing stuff, they announce something then don't release it until 6-8months later, by which time someone like Nokia has already bought a phone out that's better.
Good luck with Windows Mobile on your X1's I'll stick to OS X on my iPhone thanks, playing Super Monkey Ball |

In America the iPhone was announced sometime in June 2007 for the American market and was released in July 2007. |

The monster that cannot do MMS or video recording.
Why is that always this kind of hype when an iPhone announced/released?
What's so great about iPhone other than touchscreen?
The story of SE X-series is about to begin in September and it's not ended yet. X1 is still the "monster" we're all waiting for.

Buy yourself a Camcorder, how many people seriously shoot home movies on their phones?
Serious question.

Still the crappy 2 MP (no autofocus, no flash) camera
Still no MMS support
The Crappy Bluetooth doesn't supports File transfer, A2DP etc
and the list goes on and on.
Only thinks that i like on an iPhone is its Flashy UI and the Great Music Player.
peace!!!!! |

Yeah, but the official apple announcement that created massive hype on iphone happened on January 9, 2007. and it has been a big hype for almost 5-6 months before it was officially announced in United States and released later? So it seems like apple is trying not to act SEish with the interval but given the fact that the company itself had shown to public the phone since january last year proves that it is not much different with other companies

I stand corrected. I think the original iPhone must be the only Apple product I remember that has done that. |

Who shoots home movies?
You shoot videos with your phone, dude.
You know, there are some moments in life which you'd like to have in motion. Frankly, I use my K810's video recording feature (although crappy) quite a lot. |
