The only thing i find the end call button usefull for when generally using the phone is to take me back to the standby screen, apart from that its a pain, got to keep hitting the softkeys.

I too also miss the play key, on the k850i, to pause music, you've got to get to the media player, and naviagte to now playing sometimes, then hit stop. Thinking about how slow the phone gets when playing music, now i might as well just take out my headphones, or cover the rear speaker if someone wants to say something to me.

Come on se, you know better than this!

It doesn't matter, there is no hurry to present the petition. I plan to give it a couple of months. The number may be growing slowly, but people keep signing so that's a good sign.

With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Hmmm... I suspect removed the play button on purpose to market their wired/wireless headsets with remote buttons.
Like in my case, ever since i started pairing my stereo bt headset with my k610, i rarely use the phone's play button anymore. The remote button on my headset's more convenient now.

Your point is furtherly complemented with the advent of shake control feature on most SE's music solutions. SE probably would have their point on removing the useful feature we used to use.

climbing quite slowly, just up to 152...
First : K750i, now keep on using W800i & W810i | J230i as 2nd phone | Z300i for Mum | K610i for GF
But won't buy anymore as no amazing phone after W900i (Except Japan SE phone)

That's okay, as long as it keeps climbing we'll get to the goal of a thousand before I send it, even if we have to wait a few months.

Signed!

While I've never had a phone with it, its something I'd like to see as my friend has a W800i and it looks like a smart feature. It would be great even if it could be disabled if it didn't suit. That may have come up in earlier discussion though.
