FRee BUMP for you guys.

Good work Max!

PS I'm still debating the "Play" button ... it did annoy me yesterday as I'm back on the HPM-75's instead of using the HBH-DS970s.

Thanks

Yep, for non-remote headsets, play button is essential.

I must admit I'm at a loss as to what motivated SE to remove the play button.

I have a K810i which has the play button on the side. Which models haven't got the button?

i take it this is also the dedicated play button on the side of K800i?

which of course, makes perfect sense as mine is a small unobtrusive countersunk button, activates the most recentl player or radio without faffing about thru' menus.

even on cybershot phones this is a godsend.

signed.

most new phones

the k850, w960, w910 and w580 are the ones that i can think of that are missing the play/pause button

K700i > K750i > K810i (current phone)

I was just wondering.. On the new walkmans, what will happen if we press n hold the W button? Is the music stop playing or nothing happens? If nothing happens, then I'm in.. Bring back play button!

Is there a case where a petition actually changed something?

Dude i miss the play button so much. I used to own a K800 and now a K850, when i need to turn off the music, i sometimes press a button that is not there. I have turned off auto keylock to compensate for this disaster. BRING IT BACK

i think they would add something more worth than a play button? or maybe a key which could act as a shortcut to it?
