@ oblivion

is it really that far off? With my music, 700+ songs, it is good for the most part with a minority of songs in a noticeably wrong place.

that's a pretty good ratio.

I must admit I'm tempted by the W910. I very much like this phone but the 2MP non-AF camera is a big turn off for me.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing a java app sometime hopefully, atleast then we can get senseme in other phones!

I am so confused. I have 200+ songs on my phone (not much at all really compared to some folks), the settings on Media Manager are set to perform SensMe analysis, and yet, I only have 47 songs that appear under the SensMe feature on my phone. What am I doing wrong? Is there any way to get my other songs recognized? Any help is appreciated. I actually think the feature is pretty cool!

Hm.. are you sure you've let the software analyze the missings songs?
How about restarting the phone?

Tried all that. It says the software should be analyzing content as it is added to the phone....

You could also try analyzing your whole music collection on your PC and then transferring it to your phone. (Settings tab>Music (or something)>SensMe Analysis).
However, it might take a long time to analyze all of your songs. 1-2GB takes about an hour.

I really thought that's what I was doing. Does the phone have to be connected to do this? Any other tips I should check to make sure I'm going to get it right? I'd like it to work...

There are 2 types of SensMe analysis.

The first one is activated by ticking a certain checkbox in the settings menu of the media manager. This way, only the songs which are transferred to the phone are analyzed (whilst transferring).

The second one is started by clicking on the "SensMe music analysis" button in the Music part of the Settings tab (like the previous one). This way all of the songs in your PC (or in the "watched" folders, to be more precise) are analyzed without the need of being uploaded to your phone. You don't need to connect the phone to the PC this way.

AH! Maybe that's what I'm missing somehow. I can't wait to get back to my PC tomorrow and give it a shot again. I hope it works!
