Hi Guys, just purchase my 3rd set of K850i here in Singapore. I noticed that the build quality of the phone isn't realy that solid ( in comparison to K800i or the W900i ) where they really feel solid.
The 850i feels a little plastic ( it is in essence plastic i know..) and when you place the phone beside your ear ( obviously during conversations etc )you can help the plastic "cracking / ticking " type of noise. Anyone experiencing this ?
To addon, the battery cover is a little loose.. is that norma ? |

I have a cracked D-Pad. Too much pressing I believe. Luckily, I can tolerate that. |

I found the build quality appalling, so much so that I sold it the other day. Software bugs are one thing, but I couldn't live with the disgraceful build quality.

Anything outside Japan, the quality is of second if not 3rd grade. I used to owned 903SH, 705SH, 803T.....these phones quality are damn good. And I have wrote to SE regarding making their phones screen into VGA and of better quality and not making 2nd grade quality phones and sell it to the other parts of the world. Why are there second standard? |

iPods, for example, are made in China and perhaps they are "cheap" but the quality is very good, so it is possible.
