This is all auto no scenes selected...directly from the phone resized by esato(no editors used!!!)....I even try to reduce the K800 EV to -0,3-0,7 but still no effect. They look even better in full size
K850 way better in details.....light perception....better in all

Are you sure your K800 lens is clean? The later shots are kind of hazy which usually occurs when the lens is smudged.
Also, can you please post up the full sized images? Its impossible to compare at 800x600. |

the lens was clean....k800 have's a problem with th light perception....on K850 the EV was on 0,0 and in k800 even with The EV -0,7 still looks the same...And look in the first picture with the sun in the back still looks better with the K850.I have both phones, no reason to brag the k850.....it just takes better pictures.I wanted to compare some picture with the flash...but it's no comparasion between the 2 from some reason k850 is much superior when i use iso 100

agree with you just wait for the user drives....for the k850 and then you will see the same discrepancy between the 2...so is the same thing |

Number1 himself is a cam modder and exactly knows what problems K850i has. see this pic taken by -PERFECT-, it's the best shot i've seen from a K850i but download it and see if you can do any processing on it?

the k850i seems to take better pictures with the newer firmware but a few problems remain, the grainyness which is because the tiny sensor is overloaded with megapixels this will never be fixed unless post-processing like the n95's is used, i'd rather have the grainy pics.
also the over-exposure which can be easily fixed in the driver
also the colours sometimes get washed it can be fixed in the driver maybe turning off the whitebalance like i did with the k800i will help.

those pictures are from the 037 firmwire....not the new one...the new firmwire pics are exactly the same with the ones from 037

I didn't get your point.
the purpose of post-processing is to get better result. |

as you know neat image is a software that clear the noise in the image
( lots of professional photographers use it )
the big problem that the k850 has is the noise because of the sensor
so check the edited pic and see ( not only you ^_^ ) how greate is the pic |

of course we can apply all sort of filters to any pic!
and if you see my comments on K850i pics thread you'll find that i'm using Noiseware. and if i'm not mistaken that pic is taken with ISO64 so noise is not it's problem but too much sharpening apparently by using doc mode. as you can see noise reduction on that pic will remove almost all details!! i prefer original pic. |
