I'm very close to Nanu debtwise. Lost 3 of my jobs a few years back which left me with just about enough to scrape together to pay off the interest. I was made redundant last summer (2006) which left me without a job for a few months and things were getting way over my head.

I was put in touch with a company called Thomas Charles and spoke to a consultant called Phillip Hunt and he sorted out everything all the way up to starting the IVA.
Have been doing it for a year now and have another 4 years left (£255 a month)

These days I have a full time job and a baby on the way. I never use any of my money until my bills are paid first. Whatevers left I put half away and use the other half to last me the rest of the month and have not bought a thing unless I have the money free in my bank account to do so.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

Me too!!

Just under £30k last time I checked! hehehehe

I was paying out £2.5k a month this year but I will have reduced that to £1.5k/month for January of next year, then I can start to look at repaying the £30k at a greater rate of knots!

I still buy my guilty pleasures or I wouldn't get out of bed each morning!!

It pains me to works so hard and hand over my cash in interest to the greedy beggars!

What have you been buying
btw I hope manage to repay even thought you sound as though you hate sending your money out Nanu

don't you just hate how cred card companys raise the intrest rates, my card was 15.9% when I had it now it's gone upto 18.9%

my credit limit is £4,500 i's like they want you to get into debts.

I dont like the fact ive got £500 to pay off as I want it of my chest btw,
doesn't seem much I know but it's been like that since 2006 more or less
