I am going to go to The Citizens Advice Bureau and see what they say at the weekend. What i thought we could do to start with is to get the following details from everybody involved who has been scammed;

Name
Address
Contact Number
Item Number
Total Loss

Along with any correspondence you have had with the seller, paypal receipts, emails anything at all.

If we all provide this information and the contact The Citizens Advice Bureau individually and see what they say? Then we can all go to the police and obtain and crime reference number?

I'm just about to leave to go to citizens advice now and then onto the police station. If any body has already been to the police i'd be grateful if you could provide me with your crime reference number? I'll report back later with what i have been told. Together maybe we can get our money back.

Well the bureau was closed but i have received two reference numbers so far from others in the same situation and i am waiting for a call back from Hull Police.

If you are reading this and are in the same situation i urge you to contact Hull Police on the following number;

0845 60 60 222

Please pm me for my reference number which i will gladly provide, hopefully if enough people come forward we can get somewhere with this. I ask everyone to update this thread with any news or send a pm.

You can also contact me on;

Thanks, looks like where getting somewhere now, hopefully the total amount will be in excess of £1,00o so the police can take it further, i'm just waiting for them to contact me back but mine is not the only complaint they have had. She has already been investigated in October.

First time i have ever been scammed on eBay over 300+ positive feedback oh well what can you do. I just hope justice will be done and she is made to face the consequences of her actions.

So has anybody else reported her? I think Hull police have had around 5 people make a complaint against her but i bet there are many other people out there.

I would still give it a shot, it's pretty obvious you won't get them. Maybe you could inform them now get a head start maybe?

Ebay and Paypal waste of time.
Ticketmaster no help either. (Bitch was good enough to send me email confirmation of original ticket purchase in her name!)
Going to cop shop at weekend - £270 out pocket and now without a Christmas present for my wife.

I also found what looks like her on tripadvisor; so I created an account and sent her a message pretending to ask about somewhere she visited - got a response within 24hrs so she's still out there.

Her pre-pay mobile 07871870530 is permanently turned off and voicemail PIN has been changed (can't hack in or reset without deleting all msgs..)

Sorry to hear others have been conned by her also - send me private message and we can collaborate.

If anyone knows how to find items she bought on ebay, we could confirm her address from people who posted stuff to her.

Thanks

I too was conned by this person. However in a sense I guess I was lucky and managed to claim my money back through paypal (with the help of some very nice ebayers in the forum).

However I am more than happy to go to the police if it helps other people get there money back - but what do I need to do?

Also there is a group on ebay related to this - it may help some people.

Its happened to me as well! So Mad:
This is my responce from ebay:
Hello Emma,

Thank you for your email. I understand your frustration on seller
"lion*heart*" as they still haven't sent you the Take That concert
tickets(item number 290134252280) that you've purchased.

I am sorry to hear that you are having such difficulty with this seller.

Emma, let me assure you that your report on "lion*heart*" will be
investigated and if necessary, we will take action against the seller as
it is our top priority to ensure that eBay remains a fun, safe place to
shop.

Please be informed that we take reports of members who break our rules
very seriously. Our disciplinary action ranges from a formal warning,
temporary account restrictions up to indefinite suspension of a member's
account.

Emma, I have personally reviewed our records and I can see that it has
been quite some time since you have purchased the above item. I can also
confirm that you have not filed any dispute for the item on My eBay. In
cases like this, we usually advise our member to file an "Item Not
Received" dispute against their seller not later 60 days since the
listing was ended if there are any discrepancy with their purchase.

I regret to inform you that since the listing ended more than 60 days
ago, you can no longer use this option. I realise this may not be the
answer you'd hoped for.

Why do we have a 60-day deadline?

We feel that 60 days is a fair amount of time for the buyer and seller
to try to resolve the problem. It also allows for difficulties with the
postal service and personal circumstances.

What I can do for you now is to outline some guidelines that you can
follow that may help you resolve this problem.

Emma, if it would be of your convenience, I would still recommend that
you phone "lion*heart*" and talk to them about what's happened. It's
likely you'll be able to work out a solution together. Unfortunately,
because the item you purchased ended over 90 days ago you won't be able
to request your seller's contact information via our website.

However, if you still have it, check the email you received when you
bought the item. It may have the seller's phone number on it.

If you haven't got the email or it doesn't include the seller's phone
number, please reply to this email stating that you'd like the seller's
contact details. Please be aware that we can't provide their street
address.

Note: We'll send the seller your contact details when we send you their
contact details. We feel it maintains trust and fairness on eBay if
members are made aware when other members request their contact
information.

If you can't resolve this matter with "lion*heart*", you may wish to
report it to the police. eBay will gladly help them with their
investigations if needed. Please ask the investigating officer to email
us by using the "report information to eBay" link on the following page:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/isgw-fraud-ebays-role.html

As we value your continued patronage with eBay, please be inform that
your report has been noted. However, as part of eBay's Privacy Policy,
we are unable to provide you with any information as to what action we
are taking.

I trust that this information is helpful. Emma, my apologies if you have
had a less than favourable experience and I can only wish you more
enjoyable eBay transactions in the future.

Kind regards,

Basil Ivors
