how can the police not catch this person, i sure they can trace her location from her i.p or sumthink like that or where she cashed in the money in the bank, they should find her bank account and freeze all her accounts and sieze her assets to pay people back

well in her eyes she might aswell register and do it again if the police cannot catch her, it sure pay off the mortgage. if they paid by paypal they will have her bank accound number with name, how hard would it to be for the police to check the account and find her address not very lol

I've had a letter too. Does anyone know if Paypal or Ebay are actually doing anything here? I noticed Paypal were on Watchdog this week and ended up refunding someone who used the service thinking they were protected?

Anyone know any more?

This is the link for the article mentioned. It appears that she has disappeared and all seems to have gone quiet. I am surprised that the paper gives out the figure of victims as just 40, there are many more than that.

Sorry to hear about this situation.

How about emailing travel agents across the UK with her details, a link to that news article and contact details of the Hull Police?

Do you have a Travel Agent Industry Association who may be able to help with lists of agents and cruise providers, etc?

Good luck!
