Letsdodebbie,

Don't panic... I am sure we can do Debbie and get our money back. I am going to submit an Email petition Sunday evening with as many transaction ID'S as possible.

I am sure Paypal will pay up with a bit of pressure, I am going to tell them that we are going to approach watchdog if we don't.

I am still short of people willing to join the pettition.... it's the only way forward, so get sending those paypal transaction ID'S sent to Dixy_wixy@hotmail.

Don't forget to call DI Tim Mitchel ( 01482597852 ) and ask him to call paypal on your behalf on this Number 02086053028. this was my instruction from paypal the more complaints the better.

Also I found and interesting web link, Debbie said on trip advisor that she was from the medical profession. http://www.specialistinfo.com/gpget.php?ftype=dt&town=Shrewsbury there is a doctor debbie ann shepherd registered in shrewsbury, surly not the same one???

Regards

Dixy

thanks Dixy - hopefully you already have my details.

As for the Doctor thing,I think we need to back off from the 'private investigations' a bit, otherwise I can see someone going too far and ending up in trouble (as could every Debbie Anne Shepherd in the country LOL) !!

Keep up the good work though,it's really appreciated,I hope,by us all as are everyones efforts in this matter.

I gave a statement to a civilian investigator for Humberside Police yesterday.

Perhaps we should contact Take That and tell them about our story - you never know we might get some freebies out of it? What do you think?

Dixy - can I just check that you have my paypal ref: PP-369-824-228.

Ok I was directed here by Masseur cause I posted in a market thread. Oops! I've learned something new today then. So here goes to the poor fellow who got a raw deal: I'm really sorry for your loss. This thread has really moved me and I can't help but sympathize with you. I'd be PISSED if this was to happen to me. Life is the best teacher so don't make the same mistakes twice. I've never worked up the guts to do an online transaction such as this, nor do I think I ever will. I was tempted here @ Esato once though, but fortunately the feeling had passed. Remember, there is such a thing as karma. This guy will get what's coming to him, don't you worry!

Hi,
Just adding my support. I was conned by Lionheart too - Take That at the NEC.

Papyal and ebay really don't want to know do they? So much for customer care. I wouldn't mind so much if their replies actually answered the questions I had asked - hopeless!!

Anyhow, I have reported the crime to Humberside police. I believe I am number 21! I have also spoken with DC West and I have been very impressed with how helpful and efficient everyone from the police force has been.

I have emailed Paypal and asked them to reinvestigate due to the numbers affected by this scam. Surprise Surprise - I have not heard anything back from them. I am sure I am as stubborn and determined as they are disinterested though so I will keep on trying.

Good Luck everyone!!!

Hi
Just found this sight, looking for Debbie on google. My Take That tickets are for a concert on December 18th so I cannot do anything about problems except wait for the non exsistant tickets.
I notice two people have left her address where they had to post cheques too, in case you missed it here it is:-
Debbie Sheperd
12 Highfield Rise
Preston
Hull East yorkshire HU12 8RA
This is a genuine address and does exsist, check UK maps. Whether Debbie still lives there who knows.
I expect I will be contacting the Police on December 19th. And then issuing Small Claims Court procedings. This costs very little and you should get money back (if you win) from Debbie. If she doesn't pay fine then send in Baliffs, again doesn't cost much and money back from Debbies goods. Looking forward to hearing from you who have taken this action

For those of you who don't know - Debbie departed the HU12 address some time ago (and seems to have had numerous visits from would-be creditors since - so getting money out of her, even via small claims court might be tricky!).

Also - I know that it might be tricky to find/justify the money to buy yet more tickets for Take That, BUT..........

I did manage to obtain tix from an honest eBayer and would really recommend that you get to the concert!!!!!

I hardly fit the profile of a fan - was really just there as a chauffeur for ex-wife and daughter - but I was REALLY impressed by the concert - by how much effort the guys put in (and how genuine they seemed) and by the money that had been spent to bring an amazing show together.

They could have sold the tour out 5x over without spending so big on the stage set, musicians and dancer - but instead they delivered 110%

I hope lots of you are able to both recoup losses and get to a TT concert (oh, and that delightful Debbie spends Christmas in the nick!!!)

Just checked the paypal resolution page for my dispute and have noticed the status info as

"We have received a statement from the seller disagreeing with your claim. We are reviewing this case and will contact you if we require additional information or when we reach a decision. No further action is required of you at this time."

Anyone else got this on their claim ?

If PayPal really have received a statement, she is communicating from somewhere and I hope that the Police have authority to find out where!

It's quite incredible given all the complaints against her that PayPal have the temerity to suggest that her opinion is valid - that they are denying your claim!

I don't actually have a police number/contact to hand but guess that this update should be reported...........
