Sorry to disappoint here guys,
But I have the SO905iCS, which uses the new 'PhotoFlash' LED - and to be honest, while it is rather more powerful than Xenon on the K Series, it comes no where near the ability of the Xe Flash.
With PhotoFlash LED you still suffer from the same problem of a blurred photograph - which Xenon eliminates with its high intensity burst - and the PhotoFlash gives somewhat warmer and grainier images...
However, I feel if Sony Ericsson can adopt a more mature Sensor, with decent Optics - it will offset the need for a Xe Flash.
After all, the SO905iCS Camera Module is larger than that in the K850i too...
Its the extra space taken up by the Larger Module that eats the space for the Xenon Capacitators...
Sony Alpha.

That's nice to hear now there'll be even more apps for SE devices.
Is this project only for the A200 platform or is UIQ also supported (I mean the flash part)? |

But why is there a menu button? Shiho won't be UIQ, you know.

They are but must add more support for Flash lite 3 as current OSE support is far supuriour compared to UIQ3

Walkman version of C902? How about the camera? 5 MP Non-AF Non-Flash?

Petti, correct?
Also, I just read PhoneArena's and GSMArena's synopsis of HTC's new phones being announced the 6th. The Diamond/Raphael/Titanium combo will be serious competition to the X1 and Paris, in my opinion. The only thing that the SE phones will be better at is camera and battery life (possibly). I do favor the Manila/TouchFlo 2 interface over the Xperia panel interface, however. |

I know that since G900 announcement, but they should add more support to make the UI more Eye Candy, OSE support flash wallpapers, screen savers even some items in theme creation can be made with flash lite, flash lite in OSE can be used in conjuction with some API's that's related to hardware, that what makes the dynamicly animated wallpapers ( those wich moves with the device move ) possible, the position of the phone sensed byt the accelerometer is translated into mouse position in OSE this is where the flash lite use it for all the eye candy stuff we can see with those flash wallpapers
in UIQ it will be hard somehow as mouse position is reserved for the touchscreen, I wonder how would they implement this IF they will
