Just Finished upgrading my P990i...

Currently starting up, noticed that they added a progress bar below the "Sony Ericsson" during bootup. Still need to check this new firmware.

yup an update avai for me as well =D

can i backup my SMS txt msgs/MMS somehow? or no way to back them up? =(

yep finished updating the new firmware . mine is GW1 . i have changed my CDA through kulankendi .

im currently updating...sooooo happyyyyyyy....

did u guys do the "ritual" master reset/format before updating? i was too excited and forgot it...hope there's no problem...we'll see...

even i too forgot to format and do the master reset in the hurry of updating the software hope there won't be any problem.

I never use the format and master reset whenever i do the upgrade..

i get the feeling blackberry connect 3.45 is not compatible with the new firmware.

can anyone confirm this?

i formatted it thru service menu/master resetted it afterwards and now updating it. the download from the internet of the update is going pretty fast. so we'll see soon.
