I have just received my P990 back from @Coxy. It was debranded and unlocked. The service was straightforward and simple and the results are there to see: no Orange software and I can now see what SE really intended. Indeed, I'm not too sure who the Orange developers are but I have not seen such a poor implementation of application software for many years (and I'm in the software industry).
Coxy's service is first class. For a small fee he does what he says. And you can't ask for anything more than that!!

Any news when you will send back also I have a couple of colleges that also want the service so will mail you asap.

Even the turnaround was the same day WOW.

but if you received your phone back today, Coxy must have received it yesterday.
he states that phones received Wednesday will be subject to the £5 reduction. |

Just got my P990i back from Coxy unbranded. No more Voda customisations!!!
Coxy provided an excellent service, keeping me informed all the time as to the progress. I would thoroughly recommend his service. First rate job.
A colleague in the office has an unbranded / unlocked P990i bought from the official SE shop. Interestingly it has different menus to the 'world generic' versions, so even unbranded handsets have noticably different menus / customisations. |

Went down to Coxy's house and he debranded and unlocked my P990 in 20 mins.
Excellent service, and the phone is much better now compared to the Orange branding.
RECOMMENDED.

I'm another satisfied customer, the service was first class and a lot of the big companies could learn from this sort of personal touch.
The problems i was experiencing seem to all have orginated from the Orange firmware, what are they thinking bastardising the phone in this way.
I highly recommend Coxys service. I'm not going to qoute just how fast his turn around was because i don't expect its sustainable, but suffcient to say it was exceptionally fast....
I also used cash and can say that it is refreshing that there is this sort of honesty around. |

Oh and when using SE Tool it can be done for free if you dont change the CDA. All that means is that it will update with branded firmware over SEUS. But if you have SE Tool you dont even need SEUS! Whereas if you change the CDA it wont, but then that charges a credit.

Another happy client of Coxy's services - my W950i is now unlocked and unbranded, which coming from Orange, is quite refreshing and pleasant.
Quick turnaround and effective, what else can somebody ask for.

great service at a more than reasonable price. my advice to anyone with a branded handset.......SEND IT TO COXY !!!!
mine starts up so much quicker than the bloated Orange version it used to be. |
