OK, I got old HBH-60 that has dead batt and after reading alphaorion nice thread http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=132555#post1793344 about HBH-660 (that I also own) then I try to open my dead HBH-60. As always I am not responsible for any damage if you decide to follow it.
First you need to use sharp knife and open up the black plastic where SE logo is located. It is glued so just force open it bit by bit with knife (be carefull not to break it). Remember to glue it back when you finish.
Then you will see a screw next to the button when you want to receive incoming/make a call after doing step one above. Open it first! I make a mistake by not opening the black plastic (like above) so I didn't see and break it (red circle -> broken screw holder that should be opened after doing step one above)
After that you need a knife or (-) screwdriver to open up the headset (put in between and twist). It should be easy to open after you unscrew it (second step). The circle in the next image show the broken screw part again like above picture. Finally you will see that the battery is soldered in the direction of the arrow. You need to find the replacement and solder it again. Mind the polarity of the battery.
I hope the moderator will make a pinned message about changing accessories battery and point the message like mine and alphaorion in it. Also I encourage other ppl to try to open the accessories and post it here so ppl can learn and avoid breaking it in the process (like me).
As for me I just want to glue it permanently after I change the battery and when it dies again then I will simply dispose it. Finally it may be more difficult to find the battery as the shop where I bought it say that only GP make it.
Happy DIY!
