hehehe, Since i am a modder myself, K800 modding is more fun for me. I didn't like N73's 3rd party apps as fun as it slows the phone like snail due to the older platform and small ram unlike the fun i was doing with the K800 if only it features the 2420 CPU and at least demand paging feature then that's fun!

I have both of the phone (in the past... Hold both of it for 6 months...) And I couldn't thought the clear winners here... Both of the phone has it's pros and cons.
Camera: K800 win, especially at night...
N73 has more gaming experience... I really love Symbian Rayman...
Screensize isn't much different in real life...
Both of them has office capability...
Loudspeaker in N73 has a little advantage...
Playing music through headset, K800 clearly wins (because I had HPM-82 + Peter Accoustic... Couldn't find similar offering by Nokia...)
For web browser, I prefer OperaMini in K800... So much faster... N73 didn't optimized for running java apps... It can run OperaMini, but slower...
I prefer K800 cool design, but I thought this is my personal taste...
Overall UI, I prefer K800. Much simpler for everyday usage and ergonomics... Symbian has more capability, but too much confusing options...
I charge N73 everyday, but only charge K800 every 2 days... K800 has twice longer battery life...
For now, you have K750, right? If you already familiar with SE UI, choose K800. Otherwise, choose N73...
For me, I thought I missed something in N73, maybe because I'm already familiar with SE UI (hav K750 before both of these phone...) Can't tell you what is that...
But if you familiar with Symbian, you would think that N73 is great...
And yes, I prefer Symbian in N82 or N95 than N73...
It returns to your owns decision, I only contribute some information... Just try both of the phone in the store, and decide it yourself...

I thought I should post above things two years ago
Finally the owner of this thread choose K800?
I remember my friend that has N73... She saw my K800 takes a photo at night... Then she bought K800 one week later

Got my new K810i today. I have found my way back to this phone several times and i love this phone. I think itīs the most valuable phone on the market today, atleast here in sweden.
Feels superfast and solid, everything feels like it should for me and it has a "ok" usable camera. Amazing batterytime, good sound and so on...
I actually think the K800 looks better but the keys on K810 are comfortable to use. They dont look good but feels great. The lens protector on K810 are better also and you have the camera functions highlighted in the camera mode. But this is just small differences |

N73 owner: "my precious!"
K800 owner: "where the hell I put it after last usage?!"

@raider lmao!
just traded my w910i for my friends k800i today. loving the camera been annoying all my friends snapping random photos hehe.
imo k800i overall looks, set out, layout etc and also internal set up are much user friendly and more "sleek" than n73
i think its also more stable and reliable since all my friend's n73's joystick has fallen out and the camera cover doesn't start camera anymore.

Been a nokia user since 5110 to n70, but i made the shift and i'm never going back, i saw this thread when i was researching on what phone to buy. N73 and k800 are arguably the most compared phone in the market. But IMO, xenon trumps led any day. |
