I'd also like to reinstate that Symbian 3rd edition is NOT slow. Most of the stuff is almost instantaneous. |

This is a SE forum ! Who are you people to say the N73 is better then the mighty K800 ? The K800 is better/faster and that's it. If you don't like that just go to some other forum. End of story.

What about the N73 phone "hang" issue. One of my friend who have the N73 did indicate that there are frequent "hang" isssue for the N73, and you need to send the phone to the Nokia service centre for firmware upgrade for any fix.
Nokia do not have online web based / phone based (K800 has) firmware upgrade service.
Sony has on line web based firmware upgrade service (just upgraded my K800 to the lastet R1ED001 with improved performance).
Nokia never anounce any firmware upgrade and you need to go to the service centre to check for any upgrade.

A phone can hang, there's no big deal in it. Dont forget the gazillion K800's which died. Same can happen to other phones too. |

The possibilities Symbian can offer in a phone - almost endless. If u r not a power user, whoi can juz survive with java apps, u can chose SE or for that reason any non Symbian phone. Do u want to run a web server from ur phone, view pdfs, edit word, ppt and docs on the go, view mails from ur office exchange server - Symbian can juz blow dem out. And Symbian v3 OS 9.1 and 9.2 are very stable and fast. And N series firmware can be updated by the end user, no need to go to a Nokia care center juz for upgrades. The latest version of PC Suite and a data cable can do that. Firmware upgrade uis as easy as installing applications. I know what i am saying. Once Symbian - Symbian Forever...

he he he.. i remember 2-3 years ago when we had this fight on a big swedish forum....
k800 or N73 is a dead subject......but hell, choose K800 if you going to choose anything
for me Symbian is crap, the only i like with Symbian is P1, (N82 was just bloody boring).

I just don't like them both atm
i prefer K770 over K800
and i prefer N78 over N73
I just learned that K800's xenon flash is the smallest among the xenon flash based phones from SE. even my MXE-60's xenon bulb which is the size of K850's flash is larger tha K800's. however as an overall still camera K800 slays N73 hands down.
I would rather have myself an N78 than an N73 with a small ram, bluish night pictures, slow symbian S60 3.0 UI, and cheap looking design (the white version).
