Guys i received a sms from Bsnl, which said that the networks have been treated and i need to get the updated settings. So now my settings are as 10.132.194.196 and port 8080 apn as portalnorth.cellone.in the thing to note is that the proxy server remains same for all connections ie. Gprs on pc, wap on mobile, and even portal. So its clear that as more subscribers will be added to the portal service, then ultimately the people who have subscribed to Gprs and are paying for it wil ultimately suffer dreadfully i terms of speeds and bandwith. So i think they should write to the higher authority regarding this, and what if a new loop hole can occur.

Shivam , I have activated GPRS and PORTAL services simultaniously. The proxy is same for both of them but APN in differs. When I browse free I use GPRS apn. When I browse Opera mini in My mobile I am using GPRS (paid service) APN.
Free trick is not working on my mobile because my mobile is K 300 i .Two browsrers cant not work simultaneously. |

i tried the trick by connecting via PC. but when i open the browser and select "wap.cellone.in", the site opens....
i have a w800i.
Any idea on overcoming this???
once connected via PC is it necessary to enter any address in the internet explorer???

from chennai,india. when i enter google.com, it says page cannot be displayed.
Also, i am not able to open wap.cellone.in using opera on portal site.

hey guyz i have the solution for yr problems. i m using free bsnl gprs on prepaid and i have downloaded abt 160mb through it on my mobile and those bsnl guys didnt chrge a single penny for it . @SHIVAM do u got this trick or not |

well bro, thats not any trick in particular.
Its just that they have some billing defect and thats the reason why they aren't charging you.

I hope you are using the correct proxy.
