Hello friends,
i've seen enough
this trick has ben posted all over the internet without giving me any credit.
all the lousy, inefficient, imbecile, incapable creeps have simply copied and pasted!
now this trick is still working all over india (with little or no changes in the settings)
so i've decided NOT to share it with anyone

Below given is a trick thought over by me, and it works on every bsnl mobile connection that has portal service activated.
The aim of this is to provide free internet access through portal service of bsnl.
So here are the steps to perform:-

Logic: the server has a major bug in it, by which it fails to block two simultaneous connections from the phone and establishes a connection with full internet working,

Supported devices: all phones with multichannel gprs support

For connection on your mobile phone:-

1) Make two connections like bsnlportal and BSNLPORTAL1

(names of profile don’t matter, u can keep one as billgates and shahrukhkhan lol..the basic purpose of names is to enable the user to differentiate between the two accounts,)

2) Select the application you got to have the full connection working on.
Surpassingly “web” now just select “bsnlportal” profile and select a link like wap.cellone.in the page will get open, just press the red button such that the “web” application goes in the background.
Make sure that the gprs connection is still established with the web app. Two parallel lines on the top left of the screen will confirm this

3) Now open any other app that requires web connection like opera. Select BSNLPORTAL and open any other link like wap.google.com, u will get error –

the aim of using the other app is to perform multi-channel gprs,
this is verified by seeing some dots on the pre-existing connection established by “web” (step 2)

“Access denied.

Technical description:
403 Forbidden - You are not allowed to communicate with the requested resource.”

4) close opera and open web and open a site like esato.com

5) if everything is done as said here then esato will load and voila! We have the whole internet!

6) thank shivam007..

For connection on pc.

1)create a connection and enter the number to be dialed as *99***1#

2) enter the following string as extra initialization command

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","celloneportal"

3)now dial from pc, the connection will be established

4)pick the phone and open “web” open “wap.cellone.in” the phone shows error .

5) close “web” and then from the browser open http://www.google.com
and voila! The whole intenet is here

6) thank shivam007

settings for profiles

apn: celloneportal
ip: 192.168.51.163
port : 8080

leave other fields blank as they are of the least concern!

the browser settings on pc too go the same as mentioned above!

altertnate trick

use the settings as
Apn: portalnorth.cellone.in
proxy: 10.132.194.196
port 8080

note: the apn has to be changed according to ur region
like in west it has to be
portalwest.cellone.in
and likewise
All the best every1

Ya.. This trick is definately working for me.. And it will work for all despite of the fact whether the network have been updated or not.
Am from up.
And red button refers to the common button used to disconnect calls. There is also a button on nokia series 60 phones which has a ellipticical graphic with a coloured dot and a blank dot. This when pressed enables the user to work with the second application without exiting the first.
All nokia series 60 or above phones support multichanneling gprs.
For this trick to work you gotta have only the portal service activated. You can get it an sending portal to 3733 and activation is free. Settings can be obtained from toll free number 8355 or from http://www.cellone.in/select.html or from your phone's manufacturers site.

Great find dude. By the way, u forgot to answer my previous question. Does this GPRS gateway gives DNS server access? What about the speed?

The speeds on phone are marvellous... Like 104kbps and good on pc too. What do you mean by dns server access?

Just execute ipconfig/all command on CMD. If the result shows dns server addresses, then u have dns access. That's what I mean.

@shivam
If you see DNS addresses, then the Internet you are getting is almost fullfleged. There is no need to enter proxy addresses in browser settings(in airtel free gprs, we have to specify proxy address on our browser settings). But, can you access POP3 and FTP enabled sites using this Internet just like Mobile Office?

congrats for finding this trick
if it has pop3 access...hey wait a minute...bsnl doesnt have a wap only option in gprs...which means this will indee be full fledged like mobile office

@shiv try using the phone's email client or open some ftp site and post the results

there are two things u can do..
use my trick or
use the mms apn or portal apn to surf the net!
like use apn portalwest.cellone.in
ip 10.240.43.216
u can try those settings,
but if u got a compatible set then use my trick coz its full-proof!
all the best!
